- I disagreed with going to the mound when McDonald got into trouble. That just seems to add to his lack of confidence. Better to just let him be.
- Barmes. Great play on the scorching line drive short hop by Lynn. Horrendous error leading to five unearned.
- Marte has to find a way to get that ball to the outfield with a man on 3rd and less than two outs. Squandered a needed run to get back in the game.
- Poor Pedro. Two guys on and the ump calls a first strike so far out of the strike zone that he couldn’t hit if he tried. But, now that it was called he would have to try if he saw it again, which he did. Swing and miss on strike three. Not sure what one can do when a ball that far outside is called a strike. Ridiculous.
