OH what a weekend in OHio!

Pedro awaken the dreams Pirates fans had when he was drafted.  Hitting four HRs in two days in leading the Bucs over the Indians, Alvarez tantalizes with glimpses of his potential.  Of course, I remember Tuffy Rhodes of the Cubs hitting three homers on opening day one year….  but I digress.

Pedro is not Tuffy Rhodes.  Pedro is one of the best 6-hole hitters in the NL.  He is one of the best sub-Mendoza line hitters in baseball.  Pedro is… I’m really not sure what Pedro is.  

I am confident he will have a Jose Bautista type career minus a Rule 5 draft.
